Last night, April 12, 2020, I could not sleep (Easter Morning). The Lord had me read 1 Corinthian’s chapters 12 through 16, the book of James, and Ezekiel 33. Recently, I have been in communication with two wonderful Apostles who live in Uganda, Africa. Yes, I said Apostles. I’m sorry for you if your religious beliefs in whatever American church you belong to do not recognize Apostles. Jesus recognizes them and I am not going to argue on behalf of him. 1 Corinthian’s 12:28 “And in the church, God has appointed first of all apostles” – not just the 12 Apostles, but Apostles that are living all over the world starting new churches and building up the Body of Christ. If there were only 12 apostles, then go to your Bible and rip out every page that the Apostle Paul ever wrote.
About five years ago I wrote a message about me surrendering my life to the Lord and my search to find a Body Of Believers. (Here it is:) Jesus in a miraculous way showed himself to me and had me stop running from Him in July 1969. After coming to the Lord, and not having a car, I walked every Sunday to a different church to hear God’s word. What I heard from every church was the same thing I had heard attending a Methodist church with my mother for years. The words were laws – doing what that Church said you had to do to be able to call yourself a Christian. Living outwardly as to how they interpreted Christians should live with very little emphasis on being born again as in The Book of John chapter 3 does so well. Churches were run by pastors and deacons only, and their word was the last word. For me, I was a new creature in Christ. I had joy in my heart and miracles were happening every week in my life. I was singing and dancing before the Lord and praising Him daily. I wanted to meet born again believers who were full of the Lord and wanted to share this life exchanging experience with others. Singing in the high school choir one day I started a conversation with someone who had heard that I had become a born-again Christian in jail. I shared my testimony with him. He told me about a Bible study that he had gone to a couple of times in Berkeley. It was in an old house that was crammed with 40-50 Christians sitting on the floor and studying the word. I attended my first Bible study late in September 1969. I had just turned 18 that week. I walked into the house to the wonderful smell of patchouli oil. I saw Brothers with long hair, some with mustaches and some with beards. Instantly I was greeted with hugs. No handshakes. Some of the people were even kissing me on the cheek, and they were not girls. I remember thinking at that moment that the Lord could return that day and I would be ok with that. By November I had moved into a house in Oakland, California with ten Christian brothers and I went on staff in January. I had joined C.W.L.F a Christian organization in Northern California called, (Christian World Liberation Front.) I learned later that I was part of what is now known as the Jesus movement.
As I was unable to sleep that night, early Easter morning. I had a dream or vision from the Lord. I saw my former brothers and sisters that had come out of the Jesus movement, whose lives had been miraculously changed when they were born again in Christ. They had witnessed miracles, the joy of the Lord was in their hearts, and every day was exciting to be in the presence of our Lord. Now they have become the ESTABLISHED CHURCHES of 50 years ago. Yes the word of God is being taught, but it’s being taught to Namby Pamby Christians who only want to hear sweet messages about the love of God and how our loving God will rapture us up before hard times fall upon us. They say ‘Please just feed me milk, because that’s my Jesus’. Pastors are feeding their flock with milk, as to not offend their church members.
“Not many of you should presume to be teachers, my brothers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly”
I have been given the gift of being a prophet, not because I think I am, but because Jesus has given me this gift. Many brothers and leaders in the body of Christ bear witness and testified that this gift is upon me. I am standing on the wall as a watchman and calling out a warning to the American church that the enemies of God are coming. Those of you who refuse to take this warning and continue to live as an infant in Christ …
(paraphrase from Ezekiel 33)
‘Your blood will be on your hands’.
The Five-Fold Ministry was given to us for a reason from our Lord. It was for building up the Body of Christ and strengthening the Church so it could stand. But let’s not take my word for it – let’s see what the word of God says about it from the Apostles Paul.
Ephesians 4:11 through 16.
“So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. From Him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.”
I write this message for one reason and one reason only. I love the American church and the people who are in it. If you are too blind to see what’s happening in America and in your churches then I will quote one more scripture for you as I close this letter.
(Paraphrased) To the angel of the church in the United States writes:
Revelations 3:14 through 19.
“These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation. ‘I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see. Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent.’”
