Accepting The Status Quo As Truth And The Only Truth!

“if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

2 Chronicles 7:14 NIV

Temple Burning

“But if you turn away and forsake the decrees and commands I have given you and go off to serve other gods and worship them, then I will uproot Israel from my land, which I have given them, and will reject this temple I have consecrated for my Name. I will make it a byword and an object of ridicule among all peoples. This temple will become a heap of rubble. All who pass by will be appalled and say, ‘Why has the Lord done such a thing to this land and to this temple?’ People will answer, ‘Because they have forsaken the Lord, the God of their ancestors, who brought them out of Egypt, and have embraced other gods, worshiping and serving them—that is why he brought all this disaster on them.”

2 Chronicles 7:19-22 NIV

For over 50 years I have heard Pastors’ and Christians’ Quote 2 Chronicles 7:14. If we simply follow this scripture God will heal our land as well as our government! Saints, Wake Up! Do you want to bring total destruction on our land and country?! 2 Chronicles 7:19-22; go to the top of the page and read the scripture as many times as it takes you for it to sink in! God brought judgment on the children of Israel for making a golden calf at Mount Sinai. This is a chapter on judgment when the children of God failed to abide and obey God’s instructions! God brought total destruction on the land of Israel. Even visitors passing by saw that the Lord has brought total disaster to his people and his land! Some pastors and Christians will cherry-pick certain scriptures when talking to their congregation or friends. The reason why they do this is to soften God’s message and to show Him only as a God who loves us. So, if I may be so bold, let me do the same.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

John 3:16 NIV

Most pastors and Christian want to talk about the Love of Jesus. The Compassion, Mercy, and Gentleness of our Lord!

““Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me.”

Matthew 24:9 NIV

Most pastors and Christian will stay away from scripture that has to do with Sacrifice, Long-Suffering, Persecution, and Death!

Many pastors or Christians will take you to 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 and tell you that this explains the rapture of the church before the Tribulation begins. Again, another example of cherry-picking scripture. They fail to read the beginning verses and ending verse.

1 Thessalonians 4:13

“Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope.”

1 Thessalonians 4:18 NIV

“Therefore encourage one another with these words.”

This is a compassionate message from Paul to those Christians who have lost loved ones through death. The word rapture did not even appear until 1830. A Miss Margaret MacDonald was dangerously sick and thought she was dying. She found her mind in an altered state and began to experience considerable visionary activity. The spiritual experiences of Miss MacDonald are the source of modern doctrine (The Rapture). What is interesting is that prior to 1830 church leaders and scholars said nothing concerning Jesus coming twice as the rapture suggests.

“Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you.”

Matthew 24:4 NIV
